Site Updates

Moving to MediaTemple

Possible site outages over the next few minutes as I migrate the site over to MediaTemple.  After a few weeks of testing the waters, I’ve decided to move all of my domains and client sites to MediaTemple… Bluehost was fine for my first year of internet presence but September-early October of this year had an unacceptably high amount of downtime.  So far I havent even experienced a slight blip at MT and have heard only good things so I’m taking the leap.

See you on the other side…

Update: Moved and now live on MediaTemple’s grid-service.  Welcome back.

  1. I had the same problem with Bluehost (and that was only 2 months of service before I HAD to move because of downtime.) They were horrid! Worst. Customer. Service. Ever.

I’m happily at CanadianWebHosting.com now, and it’s awesome.

  2. Media Temple is probably my favorite webserver. While a bit more expensive then the 5 dollar a month group it has been worth it in my experience.

  3. When I decided to self-host my blog, I went to Bluehost and then my blog went down for 48 hrs after submitting payment. eek! I’ve been at MidPhase since then and have had zero issues. How’s Media Temple treating you?
